49. Do aerobic exercise
Fat Loss: Aerobic exercise is great for weight loss as you probably already know. Getting your heart rate up will help to burn calories. Walking, running, and swimming are great aerobic exercises.
Libido: Regular exercise reduces stress, increases energy, and self-confidence. Three key ingredients in having a healthy sex drive. Aerobic exercise is excellent for increasing libido, because it, as well as any form of exercise, releases endorphins in the brain.
50. Don’t over train
Fat Loss: Overtraining leads to an inability to lose weight. No matter how long or how often you work out, if you over train, you will not burn fat. You could possibly even gain weight or have a decrease in your muscle tissue. This is due to increased cortisol levels. More cortisol means more fat storage. Also, the stress caused by overtraining could cause hypothyroidism. This is a condition that causes digestive problems, depression, weight gain, and many other negative health effects.
Libido: Overtraining increases the stress hormone cortisol. Constant levels of high cortisol will suppress testosterone production. Sex drive is a product of testosterone. Not to mention, if you are chronically fatigued from overtraining, you will have no energy or desire to participate in sex, which is in itself more physical activity.
To avoid overtraining make sure you are getting plenty of rest (at least 7-8 hours of sleep at night), drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day, and taking 1 -3 days off per week.
